Just earlier today (Sunday, 8/28), Target posted a new Beauty Bag available that comes with free beauty products. I'll forward anyone reading this to DrugstoreDiva's post about it since it contains more detail and is where I heard about this free beauty bag. All you have to do is fill out a short survey and your address and they will send it to you, for free. You will have to hurry over beauty because this beauty bag runs out quickly.

NOTE: The Target site is running very slow but try anyway.

Nail Polish Haul - 8/20/11

Ahh!!! It's finally here! My order from Zoya! From now on I'm going to report on any of the new Zoya deals that involve getting free nail polish. It's the only time I order from Zoya.com. This time, I was able to get 3 Zoya nail polishes for the price of one (price includes shipping). Since I was able to freely choose each and everyone of these nail polishes, I can not wait to do a NOTD for each of these this fall.

Here are the nail polishes (from left to right)^:
Cynthia - A dark, smoky peacock teal with light shimmer. The first fall color I saw and had to have.
Marina - A blue-grey color with a metallic finish. I definitely do not own a metallic shade like this!
Bela - A milky, creamy, light baby pink color. Oh Bela, you are adorable. And having been featured in Black Swan (Don't believe me? Here's a pic!), I had to have you.

(A closer look; with flash)

For a closer look at any of these nail polishes, just click on their names. This will redirect you to their page on Zoya's website. Thanks for stopping by!

Water Marble Nail Art, Take #4!

Well, judging by my last couple of nail-related posts I have not done the water marbling effect on my nails in a while since it takes a little time, is messy, and consumes plenty nail polish. Instead of using incredibly sparkly nail polishes I decided to tone in down with simple black and pink. Next time I use this color combination I may use one of my brighter hot pinks. Either way, it works.

Refer back to my original Water Marble Nail Art post for steps and other pictures.

Nail polishes I used (I only used 2):
Sephora by OPI's "Kitty Loves Black" (A black color with blue sparkle)
Essie's "Mamba" (A classy neural pink)

At least one nail design on each hand was damaged unfortunately but from far away it did not make a difference.

Nail Of The Day - Essie's "Sand Tropez"

Click any images below to enlarge.

Two coats + Seche Vite top coat

Over the past month I have purchased many Essie nail polishes. Four Essie nail polishes to be exact. This is one of the four I will be doing NOTDs on and it's called Sand Tropez. I've heard of this one from many beauty bloggers and youtubers.

As for the formulation, I consider it to be one of the "hits" from Essie since their nail polishes are very much hit and miss. Sand Tropez is not streaky, not too goopy, and with one coat of Seche Vite, dries within a minute or so while leaving great shine.

I purchased this bottle of Sand Tropez on clearance at Target (2 dollar cheaper). Essie is also available at Walmart and RiteAid.
